MLO Reflective Narrative:
The courses that fit this MLO were JAPN 403 and JAPN 404. During JAPN 403 I learned about and developed skills for research. During this course we read a book called The Craft of Research explaining the best way to research (Discussion). The book gave many tips on how to craft a research question as well as the different ways in which to write a research paper based on the potential audience. I learned about the process and different stages of research, along with how best to search for information through different resources to obtain primary and secondary sources. I hope to continue to develop and utilize these skills in the future within my career and schooling.
